A Cultural Hypothesis – 4 Enablers of High Performing Organisations
Essential reading for high performers
Following hundreds of hours of research, interviews, and check and challenge against real-life experience, our Cultural Hypothesis highlights four key enablers of healthy, high performing organisations. It’s a valuable resource for anyone aiming to shape positive cultures that enable people and organisations to flourish.
Organisations that attend to the individual purposes of their staff and explore alignment with the company wide purpose expectedly enjoy positive returns.
Psychological Safety
The healthiest and most high performing cultures recognise the value of psychological safety and prioritise understanding everyone’s experience.
Belonging
Belonging is considered a temporal experience. As such, and like the other enablers, it requires considerable attention and consistency in behaviour.
Cultural Leadership
The highest performing cultures recognise and proactively invest in their leader’s capacity and capability to nurture the culture often articulated in their aspirations.
“We want to understand how leaders and teams can positively impact culture – one that delivers for the organisation, for the people that interact with it and for wider society. We want to invite challenge, provoke debate and openly test the validity of our Hypothesis in a range of domains.”
Tim Cox, Managing Director, Management Futures
