Elspeth is a coach with loads of experience who sees listening as essential to deeper level coaching. She enjoys using a mix of approaches, imagery, and movement, drawing on people’s imagination to achieve their best selves.
Elspeth has developed her love of coaching since attending Management Futures’ coaching skills course in 2002, which inspired her to qualify with the Diploma in Executive Coaching and Mentoring. This enabled her to move from a senior management post in the British Council to the world of coaching, where she feels most at home.
Some years on, she now also supervises people working towards their own Coaching Diploma, and loves seeing the growth in confidence and versatility of her supervisees. She believes coaching should be fascinating and fun, as well as challenging, and she brings that same approach to her supervision.
Her colleagues think she can coach in English and in French, which may be true!
“Elspeth’s calm supportive presence immediately makes you feel safe. She has the ability to challenge in a way that is gentle yet really gets to the nub of the issue.”
