“Never underestimate the power of a small group of committed people to change the world. In fact, it is the only thing that ever has.” - Margaret Mead
Genuinely high performing teamwork is actually quite rare, but when it happens the impact on performance and people’s enjoyment is huge.
While leaders recognise the importance of teamwork, they often don’t know enough about how to create the best conditions for it. The purpose of this Learning Lab is to equip you with insights into how we can improve the performance of any team, and how we go about doing that quite quickly.
What to Expect in this Learning Lab:
We’ll undertake a close-up inspection of 6 building blocks that leaders need to focus on. In each case, we'll explore what 'great' looks like - and we'll start to equip ourselves with the tools we need to get working with them effectively.
The blocks we are looking to build with are these:
- Clarity of Focus
- Energy
- Trust
- Quality of Thinking
- Quality of Action
- Influence
How We'll Work:
Our Learning Labs are friendly and creative spaces where we come together to learn, share and develop online. As well as advancing skills and knowledge, they deliver space and time for reflection, action and connection. This will be an engaging and interactive session involving break out conversations. We will invite your contribution and challenge. And, we'll balance the input of our own learning and experience with some lively practical exercises so you can try out the approaches we use.
