Learning Lab: The Art of Letting Go

Learning Labs
January 21, 2025

What’s stopping you from letting go?

Do you need to delegate a piece of work? Step back from a project? Or do things completely differently from how you’ve done them before?

Even when we know it’s time to let go, something often holds us back. Whether it’s the sense of responsibility, fear of outcomes or unconscious habits — letting go is rarely as easy as it sounds.

In this Learning Lab, Matt Driver explores the invisible forces that keep us holding on, and offers practical tools to help us shift mindset, share responsibility and support others to step up.

What to Expect:

This interactive session will demystify the art of letting go. We’ll explore how to redistribute power, foster psychological safety and build trust through vulnerability. We’ll also unpack what it means to be an effective delegator — managing handover without micro-managing or disappearing. You’ll leave with deeper insight into your own patterns, fresh ideas to apply in practice, and renewed energy to let go and move forward.

– This session was designed by Matt Driver.
