Learning Lab: The Practicalities of Effective Virtual Coaching

Learning Labs
July 16, 2019

Learning Lab #4

Traditionally coaching was a face to face or telephone engagement between Coach and Client.

There was ongoing debate about the merit and pitfalls of ‘in person’ versus telephone with many differing perspectives.

Globalisation and enhanced technology have widened this debate to include ‘Virtual Coaching’ via video platforms such as MS Teams, Skype, Facetime and Zoom.

Virtual Coaching is on the rise – it is fast becoming the new norm.

It offers fantastic opportunities, including enhanced flexibility for Coaches and clients. We’ve drawn on our collective experience and the wisdom of others to offer you our ‘top tips’ for effective virtual coaching.

As with all MF Learning Labs there’s a practical bias. You’ll have the opportunity to apply insights and learning during the Lab.
